What should you look for?
Not every solution fits every situation. Use this checklist before you decide.
Grade I or Grade II?
Grade I is suitable for values up to approx. €30,000. Grade II up to approx. €100,000. Your insurance also determines the maximum coverage per grade. We help you make the right choice.
Do you need fire protection?
Paper documents are already damaged at 175°C. Fire-resistant safes protect against fires up to 1,000°C outside for 30 to 60 minutes. For digital media, 70°C is already critical — specific media safes are available.
Which lock system suits you?
Electronic codes are convenient but require a battery. Keys are reliable but losing them is a risk. Fingerprint is fast but not every user likes it. Need advice? We help.

Wall or floor mounting determines the approach. Both are equally safe if executed correctly. Our technicians advise on the best location in your specific home.

Ask your questionDoes my insurance cover the contents of a private safe?
That depends on your policy. Many insurers require a minimum class (Grade I or higher) and confirmed installation for full coverage. We supply the installation certificate your insurer requires.
Can a burglar take a private safe with them?
An unanchored one, yes — even a heavy one. Correctly anchored in a solid wall or concrete floor, taking it away is practically impossible. We anchor every safe as a standard service.
What if I forget my code?
Our safe specialists can, in nearly all cases, perform a certified emergency opening. This is a secured procedure we perform only for demonstrable owners.
Is a fire-resistant safe also burglary-resistant?
Not automatically. Fire-resistant safes are optimized for heat insulation, not mechanical resistance. A certified EN 1143-1 safe offers burglary resistance; a combined safe offers both. We supply both types.
What size do I need?
Sketch or photograph what you want to store. Our advisors determine the minimum internal volume. A safe that gets too full is just as risky as no safe — papers then end up next to it.
